What if my C-Pen Reader 3 or C-Pen Lingo 3 won't connect to Wifi?

What if my C-Pen Reader 3 or C-Pen Lingo 3 won't connect to Wifi?

There could be a couple of reasons your Reader 3 and Lingo 3 won't connect to Wi-Fi.

These devices work on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band and use WPA2-Personal security. Most school and workplace networks support 2.4 GHz, but in rare cases, IT departments may disable this band and run only on 5 GHz. If your pen can't connect, we recommend reaching out to your IT team to check if 2.4 GHz is available or can be temporarily enabled.

If your network uses a Captive Portal or a different form of authentication, the pen may still be allowed to connect by whitelisting its MAC address.

You'll find the MAC address in the pen's Settings > System Information.
