How to erase the latest scan in C-Pen Reader 2, C-Pen Exam Reader 2, C-Pen Lingo 3 and C-Pen Reader 3

Scenario
Occasionally, for any random reason, a scan can be wrongly interpreted. You may wiggle the pen too much when scanning or there may be another reason. The fastest way to fix the issue is to rescan, but you may also want to erase the latest scan (but keep any other text you may have on the screen).
Solution
Directly after the scan, before doing anything else, press-and-hold the LEFT navigation button and the scan is erased.
