Support for parents applying for funding

At Scanning Pens, we understand that accessing funding can feel challenging for parents and carers. While we can’t guarantee funding outcomes, we’re committed to helping you explore the options available and feel more confident in the process.

We provide guidance and resources to support applications, including:

    • Helpful application guidance, including tips on how to clearly explain your child’s needs and the impact the technology could have
    • Information on relevant funding routes, such as charitable foundations or local support options

For example, we link families to organisations like the BlueSpark Foundation and offer guidance on how to structure a strong application to give you the best possible chance of success.

We also recommend exploring formal support routes such as Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), where appropriate, as these can help secure funding for specialist educational provision and assistive technology.
